Donald Trump asks Rosie to be on show
The lackluster ratings on The Apprentice caused the show to get cancelled until Ben Silverman was hired as NBC’s entertainment chief and wanted to revive the show with celebrities being the main contestants. And who better to invite on the show then archmemesis to Donald Trump, Rosie O’Donnell.
It would be great to have Rosie on `The Apprentice,’” Silverman said at a morning Television Critics Association news conference. “Donald personally told me to extend an invitation to her.” as reported by AP writer.
However, Rosie’s publicist quickly squashed the idea saying that Rosie wouldn’t do it, but was in the talks with NBC for another deal.
I wonder if this show will be any better than the last couple of seasons of The Apprentice. If Rosie was on the show it would get really old seeing as how the only jokes they can make about each other is Rosie’s weight, and Donald’s hair.
